The foodie tour in the Karawanken has long been our most popular day tour. Time for a new edition:
This large foodie tour includes the most beautiful routes of the well-known foodie tour, but with more km, more altitude meters, and even more great dining options!

• Kirchenwirt in Finkenstein: “One of the best, if not the best place to eat steak in Carinthia!”. We recommend reserving in advance.
• Marktcafe in der Finkensteiner Nudelfabrik: “An absolute must for pasta lovers, top quality, pasta from our own production”. Great guest garden, we recommend reserving in advance.
• Sotfeis Millonig: “An institution in the area, for the “sweet” pit stop”.
• Burgruine Finkenstein: “Great atmosphere with one of the best views of Lake Faak, great cuisine”
• Baumgartnerhof: “Country inn like out of a picture book from the ambiance, to the service, to the kitchen”. This would be a small detour from the tour, but it is worth it!
• Martinihof: “Fresh, regional cuisine, great outdoor area in beautiful nature.”
• Buschenschenke Ischnig-Hof: “Great snack. Delicious cider, unique view of the Mittagskogel”. A hidden gem, somewhat tucked away, turn right at the Martinihof! Open from 1 pm (closed on Mondays).
• Restaurant Dorfwirt Schönleitn: “Great guest garden, extended opening hours”
• Grüner Heinrich: Another absolute insider tip. Hidden away, with one of the most beautiful views ever from above of Lake Faak. Small, fine menu.
